Sebastian Marian Wins AI & Robotics Innovation Leader of the Year at AINext Dubai 2026

Sebastian Marian, CEO & Founder of Foxsy AI, has won AI & Robotics Innovation Leader of the Year at the AINext Awards & Conference Dubai 2026. A proud moment for our founder and for the whole Foxsy AI community.

The award

The AINext Awards & Conference brings technology leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and industry professionals together in Dubai to recognize achievements in artificial intelligence. At the 2026 edition, on 22 October, Sebastian received the award in the Excellence in AI & Technology Industry category.

The award recognizes his work across artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and robotics, together with the new approaches to collaborative robotics research he has brought to Foxsy AI.

Twenty three years of robots that play together

The story starts with Oxsy, the RoboCup team Sebastian founded, which has competed since 2003. Across twenty three years and 22 RoboCup participations, Oxsy has finished third in the main competition four times: Graz 2009, Singapore 2010, João Pessoa 2014 and Nagoya 2017. In Bordeaux 2023 it won the Cooperative Challenge.

Competitive robotics tests intelligent systems where it is hardest: in complex, collaborative environments. It remains the foundation of everything Foxsy AI builds.

Alongside robotics, Sebastian has contributed to the MultiversX blockchain protocol as a Core Team member since 2017. Foxsy AI brings the two fields together.

What Foxsy AI is building

Foxsy AI is building a community-powered data and evolution engine for robotics. Competitions and simulations generate the multi-agent data that robotics lacks. In time, real robots will prove that progress. Web3 makes taking part transparent and rewarding for anyone, anywhere.

The ambition is to open advanced robotics to everyone. Researchers, developers and communities can contribute without owning specialized hardware, which lowers the barrier to taking part and opens new ways to collaborate.

Thank you

Our thanks to the AINext Awards & Conference for the recognition. The full announcement is on ainextconference.com.

To everyone who plays, builds and competes with us: this one is yours too.
