FoxLeague Launch: Where AI Research Meets Competitive Gaming

Foxsy AI is proud to announce the launch of FoxLeague, a milestone in our mission to merge advanced AI robotics research with accessible, competitive digital experiences. FoxLeague opens with the Genesis Cup, its inaugural tournament, with a prize pool of 3,000,000 $FOXSY.

After months of development and refinement, FoxLeague is open to a global audience of players, developers, researchers and enthusiasts. It is a key step for Foxsy AI as the ecosystem grows into an environment that supports both competitive gaming and scientific experimentation.

What FoxLeague represents

FoxLeague is far more than a game. It is a simulation-based competition environment where autonomous multi-agent systems can be deployed, tested and continuously improved. It is a meeting point for communities from gaming, research, AI development, robotics and sports analytics.

Drawing on the long-term scientific mission of RoboCup, FoxLeague takes the core principles of robotics simulation and adapts them into a format that is open to the public while still being valuable to researchers.

The inaugural edition, Simulation Robots, is rooted in the RoboCup Simulation League: a 2D autonomous soccer environment where players build, observe and refine strategic decision making through their AI-controlled teams.

The Genesis Cup

The Genesis Cup is the first FoxLeague tournament and anyone can enter. Registration opened on launch day at foxleague.ai.

Before registering, coaches should read the How It Works guide and settle their strategy. Once a team enters the tournament its strategy is locked and the AI begins training on the configuration chosen, so every decision made before registering shapes the whole campaign.

How the tournament runs

  • Round 1 draws the teams into ten groups of eight or nine, each playing a single round robin with home and away matches balanced
  • The top two teams in each group go through to Round 2, which uses the same format with 20 teams
  • Matches kick off every hour from Friday 28 November at 14:00 UTC and run day and night, because no single time slot is fair across every time zone
  • Each match lasts about 12 minutes, two halves of about six minutes
  • Round 1 runs for about 12 days and Round 2 for about eight

A win is worth three points and a draw one. Ties are broken first on the results between the tied teams, then on overall goal difference and goals scored. If teams are still level after that, the team that registered first ranks higher, a small recognition for the coaches who backed FoxLeague from day one.

Every match can be followed live on foxleague.ai, from a team dashboard or on the tournament page. Live scores and match links are posted to the FoxLeague Live Telegram feed. Every replay stays available.

The prize pool

The Genesis Cup prize pool is 3,000,000 $FOXSY, split evenly between the two rounds. Round 1 awards 1,500,000 $FOXSY across its ten groups, 150,000 $FOXSY in each:

  • 1st place: 60,000 $FOXSY
  • 2nd place: 40,000 $FOXSY
  • 3rd place: 20,000 $FOXSY
  • Best offense and best defense, outside the top three: 10,000 $FOXSY each
  • A random prize for one more team outside those five: 10,000 $FOXSY

Round 2 awards the other 1,500,000 $FOXSY:

  • 1st place: 600,000 $FOXSY
  • 2nd place: 400,000 $FOXSY
  • 3rd place: 200,000 $FOXSY
  • Best offense and best defense, outside the top three: 100,000 $FOXSY each
  • A random prize for one more team outside those five: 100,000 $FOXSY

Best offense goes to the most goals scored and best defense to the fewest conceded. A single team can win both. If teams tie on either, the award goes to the team placed higher in the final group table. With 95 teams registered, the Genesis Cup awards 66 prizes across the two rounds.

Round 2

Round 2 of the Genesis Cup went live on 16 December 2025: the 20 qualified teams in a single group, 190 round robin matches and a game every 30 minutes. Every match could be watched live or replayed on foxleague.ai, with match links and scores on the FoxLeague Live feed.

Why FoxLeague matters

  • Competitive AI simulation: participants deploy autonomous 2D soccer teams into structured matches that play out in real time, giving instant insight into strategy and collective decision making
  • Global tournament infrastructure: players compete worldwide and every match counts toward rankings, reputation and long-term progression
  • Tokenized incentives: $FOXSY is the entry token for matches and tournaments. Players earn it through wins, performance milestones and leaderboard finishes
  • A contribution to research: every match generates structured data for robotics and multi-agent AI research, useful to research institutions, universities, robotics labs and industrial AI developers

A bridge between research and entertainment

FoxLeague is built for developers refining autonomous agent logic, gamers looking for competitive and rewarding play, soccer fans exploring AI-driven simulations, researchers working on dynamic decision making and universities looking for scalable multi-agent tools. The aim is to make advanced AI approachable without losing scientific integrity.

Looking ahead

The launch of FoxLeague is a defining moment for Foxsy AI and a foundation for the next phase of the ecosystem. FoxLeague will keep evolving through new tournaments, expanded AI capabilities and deeper work with research institutions and communities worldwide. We look forward to welcoming players, builders and researchers from around the world.
